Namali Kwaten and David Mrakpor – known as NK-OK and MR DM – are the duo that make up Blue Lab Beats, based in NW London. They describe themselves as "just some cool dudes that make music,"... we like the sound of that!

Blue Skies, their four-track EP released in 2016 was met with critical acclaim. Their most recent EP release, out in August 2017, shows their assured confidence in their blended sound of Jazz, Hip Hop, Funk, loops and electronic beats. It also features guest vocalists and instrumentalists from the UK's pool of upcoming talents, including Kojey Radical, Louis VI and Nubya Garcia.
