Peace One Day.

We worked as music consultants to the global charity Peace One Day.

Peace One Day is an organization dedicated to bringing about a day of global peace. On September 21st this year, they staged a sold out concert at London O2 Arena to mark the 365 day countdown to the day they hope will achieve the greatest reduction in global violence in history.

We helped them secure artists for the opening ceremony of the Cultural Olympiad and the start of the London 2012 Festival. This, the first of a series of events throughout the festival, will take place at the 12,000 capacity Ebrington Barracks in Derry/Londonderry. The historic venue will host a celebration of both the beginning of the London Festival and the three-month countdown to a truly global cease-fire. Massive Attack are the first band to be confirmed.

Throughout the festival Peace One Day will be staging a variety of concerts, talks and events.
